The Croatian Anthropological Society (Hrvatsko ntropološko ruštvo - HAD) is a cover organization bringing together scientists and professionals working in the field of anthropology and complementary scientific fields (e.g. biology, genetics, physiology, immunology, morphology, ethnology, archaeology, psychology etc.)da.

The Society has 157 members.

The main goal of is to contribute to the development of all areas of anthropology through:  CAS

 

 

• Lectures and discussions

• Establishment and maintenance of libraries

• Material and data gathering

• Suggestions and recommendations for anthropological terminology

• Provision of incentives for scientific and professional work in anthropology

• Publication of scientific and professional periodicals

• Organization of scientific and professional meetings, symposia, workshops and congresses

• Organization of exhibitions

• Promotion and improvement of education in anthropology at all levels

• Provision of expert opinion relating to various areas of anthropology

• Participation in problem-solving activities relating to environmental protection

• Establishment and maintenance of professional ties with similar institutions in Croatia and abroad.

 

 

CAS is financed through memberships, donations and funds provided by various associations and/or companies.
